The first solo album by drummer/producer Mike Ellis, ‘Me/Lp v1’ has been released on Hot Foot Productions Records.

The CD edition of Me/Lp v.1 comes in a crystal case with insert and includes 3 bonus remix tracks not available on download plus the 12" mix of 'Fame Whore'.

Derecho ~ "Beneath a Stained Glass Sky"

The new album has been released on Red Echo Records and was launched with a live show in November. As usual, it was recorded at Bluebarn Studios in Cambridgeshire with Chris Taylor engineering and Mike taking the production duties. It can be purchased via the band's website or Facebook page.

 

The Drum Fettler

Mike is currently appearing a weekly YouTube show, "The Drum Fettler" which chronicles his trials and tribulations as a man committed to finding, fondling and fettling vintage British drums.

 

Jo Ash ~ "Constellations"

Derecho's Jo Ash has released a her first solo album, "Constellations". It was recorded at Bluebarn Studios with Jo and Mike producing and Chris Taylor pushing the faders.

Aragorn ~ "Night is Burning"

 

Almost 35 years since it was recorded, Aragorn's first and only album, "Night is Burning" finally gets its first release on vinyl via Sommor Records. It can be purchased direct on the Guerssen/Sommor Records website.

Amongst the enlisted players are guitarist Shaun Dunne who was most recently in John Carter’s XII, singer and composer Mel Phillips, guitarist Jon Klein from the Europeans, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Specimen, composer Dominic Void, guitarist Justin Dwyer from the Gavin Harrison/05Ric band, Tiago Coimbra who is Myles Sanko’s bass player as well as playing in the GH/05Ric band and Mike’s band-mate Jo Ash from Derecho.

 

Me/Lp v.1 features a powerful mix of rock, industrial, dance and cinematic themes including a tribute to the work of Barry Gray, featuring all his most memorable themes from the much loved TV series of Gerry Anderson from the 1960s and 1970s.
